She just completed two scarves and shared photos with me. She crocheted them using Paton's Canadiana yarn that was donated, in colors of Deep Chocolate, Raspberry and Off-White (colors now discontinued, I believe). She did nine rows with a starting chain of 232, which resulted in scarves 80" long x 4" wide.
I think she did a great job and I'm sure the lucky recipients of her gifts will be most appreciative.Shelly, thanks for sharing with me, and also for the great works you do with Scarves From the Heart ...
Update: Shelly just informed me that this is just one scarf but she has shown both sides. Each color is just one row and the stitch used makes it so that it is raised on one side and recessed on the other. Since she used the off-white every other row, you see more of it on one side than the reverse.
Pretty neat, huh?
