I just wanted to tell you that this is an amazing scarf pattern - very easy to remember, quick and what this is especially great is it keeps excellent form (no large to small and major blocking needed) AND you really know pretty clearly when you have made a mistake...like you can't get too many rows to see a mistake...

Oh I Love the green Scarf
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to let you know that I made a very easy variation on this scarf. Instead of working the (2DC, ch 1, 2DC) in the spaces, I worked it between the (2DC, ch 1, 2DC)s of the lower row. It ends up almost with a checkerboard look--the pattern is offset. I had to use half-motifs (3 DC) at the end of every other row, but otherwise it worked out very nicely. Thanks for the inspiration!
