Not just for yarn, you can use these ideas for any craft supplies. Crafters, you don't need to pay full price for your hobby needs. There are so many options available if you just know where to look for free and cheap yarn and craft supplies.

Marie Anne -- Lots of wonderful suggestions for finding and buying free or cheap yarn. Also using recycled yarn, like from old sweaters, is another idea. Plus using recycled materials, like plastic bags, tee-shirts, bed sheets, old denim, and other rags, make excellent "yarn" once you upcycle the materials into usable craft supplies.
