Crochet Jewelry?

I've been crocheting for many years and have completed a lot of baby blankets, afghans, scarves and dishcloths in that time but I've never attempted to crochet jewelry.  I don't like working with thread and a tiny crochet hook and I'm sure anything in the jewelry category would require that, so I never ventured into that territory.

While trying to come up with a word for J-day in the A-Z Blogging Challenge, jewelry was the only thing I could think of that would fit my crochet blog, so off I went to find free patterns to crochet jewelry.

Not knowing what my readers might like for jewelry patterns, instead I'll provide you with the link to Crochet Pattern Central's free jewelry patterns page.  There you'll find free patterns for bracelets, necklaces, pins, earrings - you name it.  Honestly, after browsing through some of the links, maybe I will try to crochet a piece of jewelry someday.

Do you crochet jewelry?  What is your favorite piece?

I recenting accepted a challenge to crochet a Barbie prom-type dress. Those stitches are so small I have to feel for them because my eyes can't focus on the tiny spaces!

I'm blogging for the A to Z Challenge too:

Hmm...This is a very good idea. I've been trying to think of something new to crochet. Thanks!

I've seen crocheted jewelry, nothing I've ever tried.

Here is my WIP post---I guess you aren't doing those during the A to Z Blogging challenge ?
