Almost Done

I'm almost finished with the dark green, navy, gray and white blanket I posted about last week.  After much worrying about the colors initially, I'm actually starting to like it.  I worked with several different combinations of number of rows and placement of colors and it really does make a difference.  Having the gray/white/gray the same number of rows as the two primary colors sets it off nicely, I think, and doesn't make it quite so dark.

I guess as long as my customer is happy, I need to quit fretting about it.  She wanted the blanket to measure 34" square and I think I'm just about there when I finish this last row, so I'll do a couple of rows of SC to finish it off then weave in ends and call it good.

What's on the end of your needles or hooks this week?

Don't forget the free pattern giveaway that ends this weekend!

To play along on Work-in-Progress Wednesday, make your blog post for Wednesday be about something you're working on - some type of craft, renovation project, landscaping, even that novel you're writing. You can play along even if it’s not Wednesday; I leave each WIP up until the following week. Copy the code below Rosie's picture and paste it into your blog post so that others can follow too, and see the rest of the projects that are posted here.
Make sure to click 'You are next' below to add your link here so my readers can follow it to your blog post.

Note ** Several of you are signing up at the bottom but you’re not putting the WIP Wednesday link on your own blog. If you don’t, your readers won’t be led back here to see what others are doing and what WIP Wednesday is all about. It’s not hard, just copy the code beneath the photo above and paste it into your blog post. If you’re having trouble, please let me know and I’ll try to walk you through it.

  1. I'm unsure about this view more we see now on our main pages....I suppose it might help alexa rating since a person has to click to another page to view the whole post? I noticed this was going on in my blog as well...not something that I changed.

  2. I love the colors together, coming along nicely. Wondering if you changed your blog settings. When I popped in yesterday, it didn't appear you were doing your wipw. You don't see your logo, and you don't see the picture of the afghan you're talking about, so moved on with my blog rounds. Then today, while visiting someone else from another wipw linky, noticed your logo on her page and she indicated she was participating with several linky's. So, I popped back, read your post and was able to leave you a comment saying I was looking forward to seeing a picture of your colors, then when I click comments, your picture finally appeared as did you logo, but I have a feeling you're not getting as many visitors, commentors and or participants because it looks like you're not doing it.
