I don't know anyone who doesn't love their handmade knit and crochet dishcloths, but I wonder what colors are favored? I'm making a boatload of dishcloths for a craft fair coming up (both knit and crochet), and wondering what I should make most of. Take this quick poll and help me out!
For handmade knit and crochet dishcloths, which do you prefer?
If you have a particular color dishcloth that you like, please tell me in a comment below.

Good morning Marie Anne!! The reason I like white is so I can bleach any stains that may get on them. Hope you have a wonderful week. Love & prayers, Pat
ReplyDeleteI'm with Pat (above commenter). I love the bright colors in my kitchen, but I have ruined most of my colored dishclothes by cleaning and washing with bleach. Now I just make them in white (which is fine by me)!
ReplyDeleteThat's interesting, Denise, because I usually toss all of my dishcloths in with my whites, no matter what color they are. Most have held up well with just the smallest amount of fading.
ReplyDeleteI like the colored ones too. Would really add zing to the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that what I like to make is different than what I like to use... I'm weird! But I guess that people wanting to buy them from a craft fair probably want pretty colors to match their kitchens or provide cheery colors.
ReplyDeleteHappy washcloth making!
I voted for the brightly colored ones, because they make me happy. :) But if I were buying new ones now, it would be in wine/vineyard colors, because that's that motif of my rental kitchen.
ReplyDeleteOh, and have fun at your craft fair, Marie Anne!
ReplyDeleteLove the lime green. It just feels so springy, but I also love the hot pink :)
ReplyDeleteI have a country/farmyard and ginghams kind of a theme in my little country kitchen in the city... So my favorite colors are blues and reds!
