More Hats and Scarves

I'm still working on hats and scarves this week.  I found a hat pattern that works up quickly in HDC and l really like the shape.  I printed the pattern so don't have the link in front of me, but will definitely share it on a future FPP (Free Pattern Friday).

The yarn is Hobby Lobby ILTY (I Love This Yarn).  I'm not sure of the name on the label, but it's a pretty burgundy color with little flecks of other colors, almost like confetti, but not so obvious.  I really like the look in this particular hat.

Got the hat done and had quite a bit of yarn left from the skein, so decided to try a mini scarf or neckwarmer to match.  Well I've started and ripped, started and ripped several times and either it was too wide so didn't have enough yarn to make it long enough, or too narrow where it was plenty long enough for just around the neck, but too skinny.  This is about the fourth attempt, so hopefully it'll be like Mama Bear and work out just right this time.

I plan on listing the hat on Etsy at my regular hat price and throwing in the neckwarmer as a freebie.
