Easter-y Granny Square Blanket

After working on smaller granny squares for a while, I decided to keep going and make a big granny square for a baby or toddler blanket.  I love these colors together; to me they look perfect for spring ... all Easter-y!

Here's where I was earlier tonight, before my camera batteries died.

I was able to finish two more rows of the green, then two rows of white while the batteries were charging.

I like the last shot the best.  The colors look completely different when it's folded.

Four rows of the purple will be next, and I'm not sure where it'll go from there.  I'd like it to end up big enough for a toddler or lapghan and I haven't measured it yet so not sure how many more rows that would mean.

I'll probably list this blanket on Etsy and hope someone will like it enough to wrap their little one in on Easter Sunday.

To play along on Work-in-Progress Wednesday, make your blog post for Wednesday be about something you're working on - some type of craft, renovation project, landscaping, even that novel you're writing. You can play along even if it’s not Wednesday; I leave each WIP up until the following week. Copy the code below Rosie's picture and paste it into your blog post so that others can follow too, and see the rest of the projects that are posted here.

Just to let you know: I did try to add you to the stashbuster blog, but it wouldn't let me without having an actual email address.

  3. pretty late today, but my post is in....your granny square blanket is looking great.
We bought a clear tote for my yarn and it wasn't big enough for all of it.....that means I should be finding some things to get to making with yarn!
