The ripple is one of the most widely recognized crochet patterns to make afghans and baby blankets and is very easy to learn. Even someone just starting out should be able to crochet a simple ripple with minimal instruction. Switch it up by combining cool colors and the timeless ripple can become a spectacular finished piece.

ReplyDeleteI always had a hard time with the ripple pattern when i was a teen.
But I just love it now. I guess you get better with age
