The Traveling Dishcloth

I'll be headed home to NH in the wee hours of the morning Thursday to celebrate my brother's 60th birthday this weekend as well as catch up with some grammar school classmates from 40 years ago.  Yes, I graduated from 8 yrs of Catholic School 40 years ago!  (My birthday is this weekend too, but don't tell anyone).  It's going to be a super busy weekend, but should be a lot of fun too.

Haven't had time to crochet anything lately and will need a take-along project for the plane, so I'm grabbing a bunch of cotton yarn and a couple of hooks and will get a few dishcloths done.  I'll likely give them to my sister-in-law for  putting up with me putting me up for the long weekend.

I'll probably use my favorite dishcloth pattern since it's so quick and easy to work up and requires no counting.  I've done so many that I can do them in my sleep, so all I need is the hook and kitchen cotton yarn and I'm all set.  Here's what they look like:

See you  next week!

To play along on Work-in-Progress Wednesday, make your blog post for Wednesday be about something you're working on - some type of craft, renovation project, landscaping, even that novel you're writing. You can play along even if it’s not Wednesday; I leave each WIP up until the following week. Copy the code below Rosie's picture and paste it into your blog post so that others can follow too, and see the rest of the projects that are posted here.

Make sure to click 'You are next' below to add your link here so my readers can follow it to your blog post.

** Note ** Several of you are signing up at the bottom but you’re not putting the WIP Wednesday link on your own blog. If you don’t, your readers won’t be led back here to see what others are doing and what WIP Wednesday is all about. It’s not hard, just copy the code beneath the photo above and paste it into your blog post. If you’re having trouble, please let me know and I’ll try to walk you through it.

  1. Can't go wrong with a cotton cloth, lots of patterns, lots of uses, and always a winner. Safe and fun travels. Happy Birthday
