We've all had our crochet patterns shared in cyberspace via email, on forums, blogs, free pattern sites, etc, but today I experienced a first - a fellow freelance writer linked to one of my patterns in her novel!
Glory Lennon is a talented writer (and gardener, and crafter, and ...) who is publishing her book - Violets in Bloom - chapter by chapter on her blog. Glory tapped me on the virtual shoulder on facebook this morning and told me that she'd made mention of a dishcloth in the latest chapter and linked to my pattern. How cool is that?
I'm not going to tell you how Glory incorporated my dishcloth pattern into her book; you'll have to read the latest chapter - Realization - yourself.
Like I said - a novel idea!

I'm so glad you like it! It just came to me that Violet--the character in the book-- would have hand crocheted dish clothes in her kitchen, crafty person that she is, and as I saw one of your lovely patterns...well, I put two and two together! LOL
ReplyDeleteWow! Exciting! Congratulations!
