Crochet Hats: Some Done, Some Not So Much ...

As is usual for me, I get on a kick of doing a particular type of project over and again until I get bored with it, then start a run of something else.  It was granny squares for a few months, then more recently it was dishcloths, and now I've switched to hats!

I found a pattern I liked (with modifications) for a neat flapper style hat and did several prototypes, and finally got one finished that I was happy with and listed it on Etsy this morning.  It's generated a lot of interest from my online friends, and I'd be interested in feedback from my crafty friends, so I hope you take a look.

I've moved on to other simpler, more fitted hats and liked this pattern that works up quickly.   I made the first one in a light gray, but I think it's a little too short so I'm trying again.  If the blue turns out the same way, I think adding a row will make it just right.  I hope to get some done and listed in the next few days.  A lot of my Facebook friends have expressed an interest in the hats so I'll be busy making special orders.

So ... what're you working on?

To play along on Work-in-Progress Wednesday, make your blog post for Wednesday be about something you're working on - some type of craft, renovation project, landscaping, even that novel you're writing. You can play along even if it’s not Wednesday; I leave each WIP up until the following week. Copy the code below Rosie's picture and paste it into your blog post so that others can follow too, and see the rest of the projects that are posted here.

Make sure to click 'You are next' below to add your link here so my readers can follow it to your blog post.

** Note ** Several of you are signing up at the bottom but you’re not putting the WIP Wednesday link on your own blog. If you don’t, your readers won’t be led back here to see what others are doing and what WIP Wednesday is all about. It’s not hard, just copy the code beneath the photo above and paste it into your blog post. If you’re having trouble, please let me know and I’ll try to walk you through it.

  1. post is up....I like the hats you are making.
Just the usual stuff for me being made. I'm on a goal of making at least 10 of the rugs by May 19 when I am doing a monster garage sale...as well as working on anything else I can complete before the sale.
