Ok, maybe not exactly flying, but I've got quite a few done in the last week or two. I've got a craft fair coming up next month and want to have a good supply of both knit and crochet dishcloths on hand. I'm doing mostly the standard diagonal knit that's been around forever, but also dragged out a simple knit pattern that I created some time ago and will be making a few of those too.
I picked up a cone of white cotton yarn with little colored flecks and really like it. Here's what it looks like with both the diagonal knit and my own
Lickety-Split Knit Dishcloth, which is a modified stockinette with little lines.

What's your favorite knit dishcloth pattern?
~ Marie Anne
I don't knit, but I really like the look of your dishcloth. I crochet and I use pretty much the same pattern for most of mine. I've never seen that particular yarn - love it! Don't you just love doing dishcloths? For some reason it gives me such a sense of accomplishment when I have a pile of them ready! Good luck at your craft show!
ReplyDeleteProbably the corner to corner would be my favorite, it just seems to hold up well, but am liking the look of your fast one. Pretty print too.
