I posted the other day about having crocheted my first doily in decades (the link to the pattern is here as well), and the real test was going to be if I was able to crochet a second one and have it come out looking just like the first. Well here's photographic proof that I was able to pull it off!
It's still not the correct size hook for this pattern, but I think it looks ok anyway. I'm going to be looking for other easy doily patterns and keep at it, and maybe try to sell a few. I was surprised at the prices people are selling them for on Etsy - either very cheap or what I would consider very expensive. I don't know if there's a market for handmade doilies or not, but I won't know unless I try, right?
