Lapghan for a Veteran
I made this simple ripple lapghan to donate to my local VA for a wheelchair patient. The weather is starting to change here in Ohio and I'm sure there's a veteran out there that will appreciate having something pretty to warm their lap and legs when venturing outside. (I know I enjoy the feel of a crochet project on my lap as I'm working on it in cooler weather).
This is a variation of the basic ripple pattern by Susan B in a double crochet, but I worked it in back loop only to give it just a bit of a ridge.
The pattern works up very quickly, and it's one I use often to crochet afghans of varying sizes in a variety of colors.
You'll be seeing more of my projects from this crochet pattern for sure!
