That's how much yarn I ripped out! |
Since this pattern works up so quickly, it didn't take me all that long to get back up to speed and finish it off. I did have to take a break for a critter nap, though.
Jethro on the right, Shirley curled up with him, and little Boo decided she liked it with Spongebob |
After rousing 'the kids', I finished the blanket and it's waiting to be washed before mailing. It's a gift for my great-niece for her little one once they get Spongebob set up in his room. I sure hope he likes it.
So what're you working on this week?
To play along on Work-in-Progress Wednesday, make your blog post for Wednesday be about something you're working on - some type of craft, renovation project, landscaping, even that novel you're writing. You can play along even if it’s not Wednesday; I leave each WIP up until the following week. Copy the code below Rosie's picture and paste it into your blog post so that others can follow too, and see the rest of the projects that are posted here.

Really nice Marie Ann and the "critters" think so too!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the finished product! You did a great job and that little boy will be so thrilled to have a blanket to match his room. :)
ReplyDeleteCame out beautiful! I really love these colors...keeping them in mind to use one day! Looks like your "kid" (little boo) would like one for herself! Can't say I blame her.
ReplyDeleteIt looks very nice! It's going to be loved. I love the photo with the animals all resting....too cute.
ReplyDeleteI have lots going on as usual in my post for this week.
Beautiful work, Marie Anne!
ReplyDelete"They" say dogs are pack animals, but cats aren't -- cats are too independent.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about that... :)

Awwww! It turned out great. And I love the photo with the "critters" :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! Your first post regarding this blanket has inspired me to start one as well in shades of pink. It's my first hexagon project and I'm enjoying it lots!
ReplyDeleteHi Marie Anne,
ReplyDeleteThat turned out really nice. I hate undoing but sometimes you just know it will be worth it. Very nice!
